Crispy Cheese Sticks

Name: Crispy Cheese Sticks

Ingredients: 500 g Kraft Cheddar Cheese Blocks, cut into 8 sticks; 2 large eggs; ¾ cup plain flour; 2 cups panko breadcrumbs; oil for frying; ¼ tsp garlic powder; ¼ tsp onion powder; ½ tsp oregano; salt and black pepper to taste; marinara sauce, for dipping

A quick and easy dish loaded with deliciousness, these golden fried cheese sticks made with Kraft Cheddar Cheese take you to a new world as you crunch into the crisp layers of flour and breadcrumbs. Serve them hot and crispy, and combine them with a sweet and tangy marinara sauce and a dash of oregano to ramp up your Friday night gatherings!

Instructions

- In a bowl, add flour, salt and pepper.
- In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the garlic powder, onion powder and oregano.
- In a third bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
- Coat the cheese sticks (one stick at a time) in the flour and shake off any excess flour. Dip the sticks in the beaten eggs and let any excess drip off.
- Finally, coat in the breadcrumbs and make sure that the entire stick is well coated. Dip again in the egg mixture and coat with the breadcrumbs again. Then freeze the breaded cheese sticks for one hour.
- Deep fry the breaded cheese sticks in hot oil at 180°C, until they turn golden-brown.
- Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy the crunch of crispy cheese sticks unlike any other!.
